Matt Vaught is the lead pastor at Rockbridge Church. A graduate of Campbell University with a degree in theology and ministry, he has previously served as an Area Director with Young Life and as an Associate Pastor at Grace Community Church in Winchester, VA. He and his wife, Megan, have two daughters, Ella and Sophie. Matt is an avid outdoorsman...if you need to find him, he's likely in the woods.
Pastor of worship and creative arts
Bryan Morrell is the Worship Pastor at Rockbridge Church. Music has always been a part of Bryan's life, but his formidable skills really began to form during his time at Virginia Tech. After a few years on Young Life staff, and a few more building houses, he took a job at Orchard Hills where he served as the Music Minister for 8 years. He and his wife, Stephanie, have 4 kids: Luke, Elizabeth, Ella, and Will.
Jamie Mallya is the Church Administrator at Rockbridge Church. She is originally from upstate NY, but her heart belongs to Virginia. She attended Virginia Tech where she studied History and Political Science. She is passionate about administration and education. Jamie can often be found with her nose in a book or spending time with her husband, Dam (pronounced 'Dahm'), son, Paxton, and dog, Dr. Watson.
Associate Pastor of Spiritual Formation
Dam (pronounced like “Dahm”) is the Associate Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Rockbridge Church. Dam is originally from outside of Philadelphia, PA but Virginia is home to him. Dam has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and religion from James Madison University and is at the halfway mark for a master’s in Biblical studies from Reformed Theological Seminary. Dam has worked in various capacities with Young Life and most recently in a healthcare training advising role as a college and career navigator at a local community college. Dam enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching anything Philadelphia sports, reading any book pointing him to Jesus, trying new restaurants, and absorbing any form of the arts in person such as a museum, musical, play, concert, or movie. Dam and Jamie have one child, Paxton (2).
Children's ministry Director
Leece has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and human services and a master’s in education with certification in school counseling. She has spent the past five years as an elementary school counselor in Virginia, most recently with Rockbridge County Schools counseling at Natural Bridge Elementary. Leece enjoys traveling to see extended family, advocating for autism awareness, photography, blogging, and reading. She and her husband, Corey, have two children: RJ and Rylee.
