matt Vaught
senior Pastor
Matt Vaught is one of the Senior Pastors at Rockbridge Church. A graduate of Campbell University with a degree in theology and ministry, he has previously served as an Area Director with Young Life and as an Associate Pastor at Grace Community Church in Winchester, VA before helping to plant and lead Rockbridge Church in 2015. Matt is gifted at casting vision, and among other things he currently oversees Lifegroups, Men’s and Women’s ministry, the teaching team, and missions and outreach teams. He and his wife, Megan, have two daughters, Ella and Sophie. Matt is an avid outdoorsman...if you need to find him, he's likely in the woods.
Brad Stephenson
Student Ministries Director
Brad is a native of Roanoke, VA and started his own true relationship with Jesus on a mission trip in the 6th grade to Conway, SC. Brad recently graduated from Washington and Lee University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Brad served as a leader for the Middle School Youth Group at Orchard Hills Church and was also employed at Orchard Hills Day School for 5 years as an Assistant Teacher and a Summer InternDuring his college years, he attended RbC and was active in Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) on campus. Brad loves soccer, kayaking, and spending time with his new puppy Tucker.
LARISA Stephens
Early Childhood Director / Bookkeeper
Larisa Stephens is the Early Childhood Director and the Bookkeeper at Rockbridge Church. After getting her degree at Seattle Pacific University in Consumer Sciences, she spent most of her career in banking & bookkeeping. Outside of paid work, Larisa spent the rest of her time volunteering in various capacities in the Children’s areas at her church, Bible Study fellowship and at a preschool.
Larisa is originally from the Seattle area until God took her family on the adventure of moving to Rockbridge County in 2015. Larisa is married to Ted and is the mother of Jake, Andrew and Hannah.
bryan Morrell
Senior Pastor
Bryan Morrell is one of the Senior Pastors at Rockbridge Church. A graduate of Virginia Tech, Bryan was an Area Director for Young Life, a Youth Pastor, and then a worship pastor for 16 years. Bryan loves organizational health, and among other things he currently oversees the staff, facilities, day to day operations, and many of the ministries we see on Sunday morning. He and his wife, Stephanie, have 4 kids: Luke, Elizabeth, Ella, and Will. If you need to find Bryan, he’ll most likely be playing music, watching a good movie, or working on a house project!
Denise Boucher
church administrator
Denise Boucher is the Church Administrator at Rockbridge Church. Denise is originally from the New England area, where she spent most of her career in technology and business. Denise spends much of her free time volunteering on the board of the Rockbridge Ballet and hanging out on her porch. Denise lives in Lexington with her husband Mike and has two daughters, Brooke and Sydney, and a very needy dog named Walter.

Rockbridge Church is led by an elder team who oversee and shepherd as servant leaders submitted to Christ. Our Elders: Dan Sanders, Mike Moorman, Bryan Morrell, Matt Vaught, Don Eland, Matt Niebur and Richard McRae.
